QS World Young Universities Ranking 2021

NUST ascends 10 positions in QS 2021 World University Rankings (Top 50 under 50) from 51 to 41 out of 150 universities ranked this year. NUST has been ranked 1st among Pakistani universities in this league of QS Rankings. For the past 5 years, NUST has been making headway in this ranking category against a very competitive global higher education environment, soaring from its standing from 81-90 in 2016 to its present absolute position of #41. This ranking is based on same indicators as World University Ranking except the age of the university. The performance indicators include Academic Reputation, Employer Reputation, Faculty-Student Ratio, Citations per Faculty, and International Faculty & Students.
